A landscape plan

This is a sample of what I create for my landscaping clients:

None of that new-fangled computer aided drawing for me! All done by hand!

My garden!

A shady little nook in my garden! We have three big maples in our back yard that try to suck the life out of anything else I plant. I have a ton of hostas that can take the competition from the maple roots. Some brunnera, coral bells, tiarella....good thing I love shade plants!!

2009 Father's Day

I'll have to get busy on some cards for this year but for now, here are last years cards: One for my hubby and one for his dad.

Both guys love their golf! I think it is crazy chasing a little white ball around but whatever! I'll take some scrapping any day over most sports!

Front Garden Design

Well since I am a landscape designer, I thought I'd post some finished pics of some of my garden creations. So here is one of them:

A square cut flagstone path, a trio of stone pillars, river rock, and ornamental grasses.

Another Whiff of Joy Card

Here's one more card I did recently. Another Willow image from Whiff of Joy. So so cute. Again, I am really loving the sepia look, so on this card I stamped Willow on some printed fabric, then coloured her in with some Fluid Chalk ink.

Whiff of Joy!

I am really in love with Whiff of Joy stamps!! This is a copy of a card I made for a friend, to welcome her new baby boy (born this morning!!!) Congratulations!!

I stamped the image on some designer paper using Cocoa Brown Memento Ink, then coloured her in using brown and ivory conte, highlights with an opaque white gel pen. I love the sepia look it came out like.

Valentine's Cards!

These are the valentines that "my boys" made for their friends at school and daycare. Okay so I made them all, but Malcolm did help, and it is Ben's handprint. I conveniently got the new dinosaur Cricut cartridge just before Valentine's day and had to use it to make the dinosaur cards. A little red glitter, some LYB paper, red cardstock and we were set. For Ben's cards, I colour copied his hand print, cut it out and attached it to more LYB paper. His daycare teachers loved it!

Okay, I am off to search for some more crafty stuff to post!!

My First Post

My first post!! I am working on some projects for the best scrapbooking store ever...Scrappin' Great Deals and I needed a blog so I can post the pictures of the finished results. So here it is!! Now to figure out how to post a picture!!

My dog and cat, sleeping together like the best of friends. Cooper (the beagle) is almost one, and Pumpkin (the cat) is almost two. And they are crazy! They love to terrorize each other, and then take a nap. They are the best pets!
