Derwent Inktense Card Class

 Good morning!!  Even though we haven't seen a glimpse of it outside, I am thinking SPRING!!!  Here are my two cards for my upcoming card class at Scrappin' Great Deals, this Saturday. I used Derwent Inktense Pencil Crayons.  Absolutely love the intensity of colour you can acheive!!  Here is a close up of the Penny Black stamp "Tulips for You":

If you can dream it...

I love mixed media.  Here is a 12"x12" canvas that I created with a ton of fun products, Prima paper, tissue paper, Dreamweaver embossing paste, distress paints.....so happy!!  I am teaching this as a class at Scrappin' Great Deals on March 16!  Click here for details!!

Walk off the Earth

My hubby loves music. LOVES it.  Loves going to concerts, listens to CDs and on his Ipod as often as he can.  He recently took Malcolm to his first concert.  Downtown.  On a Friday night.  This made me very nervous.  Yes, it is downtown London, not downtown Detroit.  But still, stuff happens!  Fortunately, nothing happened, they had a great time and I spent the night fretting for naught.  Here is a layout I made for Malcolm.  They had VIP passes and got to meet the band "Walk Off The Earth", back stage.  Very exciting!!

Colouring Frenzy!!

I was a colouring mad woman over the Christmas Holdiays!!!  I coloured sooooo many images, it was easy to just bring out my colouring bag when the kids were playing video games and tidy it up quickly when they were done.  When I scrapbook, I make a BIG mess and it is usually not worth it to start when I only have an hour or so at a time.  I have fallen in love with Derwent Inktense Pencil Crayons....the colours are so fluid and vibrant!  Here are a couple of cards I made that are now for an upcoming card class at Scrappin' Great Deals: (Details on the class can be found HERE)

Do you want to become a guest designer for The Paper Loft??!!  Here is what you need to do:

The Paper Loft PLS12 Sketch & Guest Designer Challenge!

  The challenge will run from 11/11/2013 to 11/30/2013. Our Guest Designer will get a $30 Gift Certificate, a special badge and will have their projects featured on our blog throughout the month of January.  To participate:

  Make a project (card, scrap layout or any project that works with the sketch) using the provided sketch and upload it to your blog or online gallery. All Boy Mini Album

Happy Monday Everyone!!!  I am sharing one of my upcoming classes with you today, that I will be teaching at Scrappin' Great Deals.  A super cute little mini album perfect for those boys in your lives!!  The class will be November 23, 2013 from 10am - 3pm and you can register online HERE or in person at the store!

The album has a ton of details, hidden pockets, bright colours - great as a Christmas gift for grandparents or just as a special keepsake!! Here are some pictures of the inside of the album:

 Calling all crafty kids!! Join my fellow Scrappin' Great Deals Divas for a fun afternoon of crafts & treats!! The Divas will be on hand offering free Halloween themed make n takes for your children!

No need to register ... simply have your child(ren) bring a donation for the London Food Bank! They can see first-hand how much food they will be donating to those in need and be able to leave with adorable crafts and yummy treats!

They are welcome to come dressed-up!! Hope to see you there!!

  Join the SGD divas for a fabulous card-making extravaganza!! This is a FREE event - no need to register! Their talented Divas will be on hand offering FREE make and takes (while supplies last)! There will be door prizes galore, a knock-your-socks off raffle table, treats & MORE!! The Divas are prepping for 100 so there will be lots of cards waiting to be made!!

Registration is not required ... simply bring your scissors & adhesives and be ready to make fabulous cards & matching envelopes featuring the amazing new Envelope Punch Board!! 

In lieu of any fees for this event, Scrappin' Great Deals is asking that you bring a donation for Ovarian Cancer Research in honour of their lovely Thursday Lady, Donna!! SGDs will match all donations collected!!

A Wedding Card

The image is a Crafter's Companion Popcorn Bear, coloured with Derwent Studio Pencils, the patterned paper is The Paper Loft - Shades of Grey (featured on their blog today and shows the paper I used!).  The ribbon and flowers are from Prima, and the sentiment on the inside comes with the Bear stamp.

Another Dinosaur Layout!!

I was super-thrilled to be asked to join The Paper Loft's Design Team!  What an honour!! I love their products!!  

The above layout was featured on their blog yesterday. (Click Here) The paper lines I used were Funkysaurus & In the Zone.  I used my Cricut Cartridge - Dinosaur Tracks to create the Triceratops dinosaur.
