The Boo Crew!!

OOPS, some technical difficulties, but here we go now!!
Welcome to another Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Blog Hop!!!  Like so many others, I have been waiting for this release very eagerly!!  I LOVE Halloween!!!!  And once again, Kimmie's artists do not disappoint!!  Fantastic images!!  A "Treat" indeed!!

The details:

As you’ve seen over the last few days in our Krafty Peeks, we have lots of SPOOKTACULAR new stamps for you to play with for HALLOWEEN!  There are three new ADORABLE LITTLE WITCHIES from Cheryl Alger, five new HALLOWEEN FUN stamps from Emilie Goulet and six awesome new BATTY PRINCESS AND FRIENDS stamps from Annie Rodrigue!!

You will get to see most of the new images today as you sit back and enjoy our KREEPY Krafty Hop!  If you want to start from the beginning, just head over to the Kraftin’ KimmieChallenge Blog!  As you hop from blog to blog, be sure to leave a comment at each and every stop because some lucky stampers will win packages of these frightening stamps from the new release!!  And when you’re done hoppin’, be sure to head over to the Kraftin’Kimmie shop, because ALL the new images are NOW available!

And of course, as always, we have our Gimme Kimmies Kits available for those of you who ‘need it all’!!  The stamps are grouped together by artist and are available at a discount, but only for a limited time!!

My Layout today is titled "The Boo Crew" and it features my son Malcolm and three of his very lovely "girl" friends, as they were out trick or treating last year:

I have used 4 images in total on my layout, one of Annie's (Mr. Punkinhead), 2 of Emilie's (Haunting Hilda & Frank n Kittie) and 1 of Cheryl's (You're a Treat).

The background paper is MME and I stamped all the images on co-ordinating MME paper in Black Soot ink, and embossed also with Black Soot embossing powder to set the ink. The images were all cut out and then I watercoloured the images with the black soot ink, marmalade ink and walnut distress stain.  The orange and tan paper are from Pink Paislee, the jack o lanterns, pumpkin, bats, web, and tree are all cut from the cricut .  I used a script stamp from Tim Holtz and a flourish stamp from IO to add some detail to the background, the title alpha are from chipboard letters, by Maya Road, coloured in marmalade distress ink, and misted with Harvest Orange glimmer mist.  I layered everything, glued it all down, and scattered around some Pebbles Candy dots that were just too bright so I muted them down with some black soot ink.  I think that is about it!  Some close up of the images are in order!  The paper I stamped them on had a subtle resist on it that added some interested texture to the images.

Make sure you hop on over to Tracy's blog for your next stop!  And make sure you leave a comment to be eligible for the prize!!!   Happy Hopping!!

  20. I am loving this new trend - to me anyway - of using stamps on Scrapbook pages. But using digis means you have control over size and merging multiple images like this is AMAZING!!! You took my breath away. Keep at it, this trail blazing, we love it. MelMcK xx
